ARRIVAL AT JOMO KENYATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN NAIROBI

As you step out of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your personal Africa Safari Trips guide greets you with a big smile: 'Karibu Kenya – welcome to Kenya!' The guide takes you straight to your hotel, where you can relax and take in the images of vibrant Nairobi. The next day, your guide takes you on an exclusive, private safari that allows you to travel at your own pace. Enjoy the luxury of your private safari jeep and take the liberty to stop and watch the animals as long as you like!

DAY 2 - 3

MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

The Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most famous places for safari worldwide. Located 270 kilometres west of Nairobi, this is one of the biggest game reserves in Africa. It extends over 1,500 km² and has more than 400 species of birds and no less than 95 species of mammals. Big cats are frequently spotted here, and this is THE place to watch the world-famous Great Migration between August and October, with its vast herds of wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River.

DAY 4

FLIGHT FROM MAASAI MARA – ENTEBBE (not included on the price charged)

ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

You arrive at Entebbe International Airport, your gateway to the diverse beauty of Uganda! This is the country of adventurous mountain gorilla and chimp trekking, stunning wildlife safaris, amazing road trips and wilderness adventures by boat, bike, horse or foot. Experience the warm hospitality of the Ugandan people and be amazed by the cultural encounters with the different indigenous tribes. With us, you’ll experience it all!

Accomodation at Sheraton Kampala

DAY 5

DRIVE FROM ENTEBBE / KAMPALA TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

The drive from the city of Entebbe (or Kampala) to the stunning wilderness of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park takes approximately nine hours. But don't worry, the beautiful landscape, forests and mountains and the chance of seeing wildlife along the way make this a fascinating road trip. And of course, the perspective of going on a trek to see the endangered mountain gorillas the next day makes it definitely worth your while!

DAY 6

MOUNTAIN GORILLA TREKKING IN RUSHAGA (SOUTHERN SECTOR)

The Rushaga sector in the south of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is special: eight gorilla families have made this green paradise their home, and a few of those are not used to humans yet. During a mountain gorilla trekking tour, you hike over relatively easy trails and spend an hour with the groups used to humans, or four hours with the furry giants not used to seeing you in their natural habitat. Watch the lazy ones eat, the young ones play and the silverback guarding his territory. This truly once-in-a-lifetime experience will leave you in awe forever… and maybe even bring a tear of joy to your eyes.

Accomodation at Sheraton Kampala

DAY 7

DRIVE BACK TO ENTEBBE - DROP OFF INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

As you drive back to Entebbe, you again pass through the villages with their lively marketplaces and the outstretched countryside with tea and coffee plantations, smooth green hills and the occasional wildlife waving you goodbye. After several days of sheer adventure, even the ride back to Entebbe is an experience to enjoy!
