DAY 2 - 3
MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
The Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most famous places for safari worldwide. Located 270 kilometres west of Nairobi, this is one of the biggest game reserves in Africa. It extends over 1,500 km² and has more than 400 species of birds and no less than 95 species of mammals. Big cats are frequently spotted here, and this is THE place to watch the world-famous Great Migration between August and October, with its vast herds of wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River.

DAY 5
DRIVE FROM ENTEBBE / KAMPALA TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
The drive from the city of Entebbe (or Kampala) to the stunning wilderness of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park takes approximately nine hours. But don't worry, the beautiful landscape, forests and mountains and the chance of seeing wildlife along the way make this a fascinating road trip. And of course, the perspective of going on a trek to see the endangered mountain gorillas the next day makes it definitely worth your while!
DAY 6
MOUNTAIN GORILLA TREKKING IN RUSHAGA (SOUTHERN SECTOR)
The Rushaga sector in the south of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is special: eight gorilla families have made this green paradise their home, and a few of those are not used to humans yet. During a mountain gorilla trekking tour, you hike over relatively easy trails and spend an hour with the groups used to humans, or four hours with the furry giants not used to seeing you in their natural habitat. Watch the lazy ones eat, the young ones play and the silverback guarding his territory. This truly once-in-a-lifetime experience will leave you in awe forever… and maybe even bring a tear of joy to your eyes.
Accomodation at Sheraton Kampala
DAY 7

As you drive back to Entebbe, you again pass through the villages with their lively marketplaces and the outstretched countryside with tea and coffee plantations, smooth green hills and the occasional wildlife waving you goodbye. After several days of sheer adventure, even the ride back to Entebbe is an experience to enjoy!
